Senior Manager
Ernst & Young is hiring Senior Managers within the Business Tax Advisory to work in various locations throughout Canada, such as Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton, Toronto, Halifax.
As a senior manager, your main duties will be to supervise tax consulting engagements. There will be several of these engagements, and their oversight is extremely important. You will manage several aspects of the Business Tax Advisory as well.
We are looking for candidates who are knowledgeable in their field, have great work ethics, and have at least eight years of experience in a related field.
Working as a Senior Manager
Senior managers typically work in an office setting, and spend their time preparing tax services and dealing with tax professionals. As a member of the Business Tax Advisory team, you will provide Canadian corporate tax services, prepare tax correspondence, and support the development of tax professionals and junior tax staff members. Along with these duties, you will participate in and supervise multiple tax consulting engagements. You will be expected to keep up to date on trends and new developments relating to your field.
For a job as a senior manager here at Allstate, you must be intuitive, competent, and have a great work ethic. A Bachelor’s degree is necessary, preferably in accounting. You must have completed or enrolled in a CICA in-depth tax course, as well as have at least 8 years of experience in a related field. We value broad exposure to federal corporate income taxation, and the ability to work well with a team.
