JOB DESCRIPTION

Liberty Mutual, the fifth largest Property and Casualty insurance company in the U-S, is looking for a Supervising Technical Investments GAAP Accountant at its Headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts.

You will be responsible for the preparation of quarterly and annual external GAAP-basis deliverables, including MD&A, 10K, and 10Q style reports.

You’ll monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with deadlines and quality standards.

You will also provide guidance and solutions for routine and complex accounting issues, and act as a liaison with internal and external auditors.

Applicants for this position should have a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, along with 2 years managerial experience.

An advanced degree and/or CPA is strongly preferred.

At least 5 years of GAP/SEC reporting experience is required and a focus on investment reporting is preferred.
