Project Manager
Allstate Insurance is looking to hire project managers to oversee various agency projects and efficiency in Northbrook, IL.
As a project manager at Allstate, you will manage multi-million dollar initiatives, assess budgets, handle agency concerns thoroughly and intelligently, and interact with clients with attentiveness and care.
We are looking for individuals with the ability to manage a team, conduct meetings, and oversee the agency. Candidates need to be outgoing, organized, and motivated to help make the agency more efficient.
Working as a project manager
A Project Manager at Allstate Insurance is in charge of all aspects of project delivery. As a project manager, it is your job to make sure that every detail of the project is under control and functioning efficiently. You oversee, and are responsibly for, the budget, communication issues among employees, obtaining resources, managing a timeline, and the project delivery. You will be expected to maintain an air of professionalism, even amidst stressful projects and situations, and by doing this you will set an example for the rest of your team. Because Allstate is such a large company, you will manage multi-million dollar initiatives and asses budget/risk. This prestigious job will help you put your project leadership skills to work, and will allow you the opportunity to aid cohesion and efficiency in the workplace.
Since this job holds so much responsibility, we are looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of project management experience. Not only must you have strong communication skills, but a strong work ethic. These attributes, as well as a deep understanding of MS Project, Project Server, and MS Office, are required. SDLC and PMP certification is a plus, but is not mandatory for the job. As a project manager, you will lead by example, and set the pace for the work done on the project, and the productivity of the rest of the group.
