Job Description:

This position provides technical functions associated with the delivery of clinical pharmacy services by maintaining proper stock levels in all pharmacy locations, compounding or otherwise preparing, filling, pricing, & delivering pharmaceuticals.


Responsibilities include ordering, processing, entering and filling prescriptions. Maintaining inventory and documentation is also important, along with repackaging and labeling medication.

University of Utah Health Sciences is currently searching for Pharmacy Technicians.

In this position you’ll be providing assistive care to patients. The incumbent facilitates the efficient delivery of patient care, supports the professional role of the licensed staff, and provides support and assistance as directed by licensed staff in rendering basic healthcare to the patient. This position also assists with clerical functions as a multi-skilled auxiliary worker. One year plus experience is preferred.
