ORSNs will be responsible for answering questions and/or concerns of patients, preparing the surgical environment, working with the surgical team, and assuming all responsibility for new staff orientation educational programs and maintenance.

ORSNs will employ the NorthShore University HealthSystem Nurse Quality of Patient Care process, use EpiCare documentation, serve as guides for assigned nurse personnel, and provide scrubbing & circulating case duty.
