Clinical Development Director

MedImmune is hiring Clinical Development Directors to work full time in Gaithersburg, MD.

As a clinical development director for MedImmune, your main role will be to establish and approve different innovative scientific methods for the company. As a medical leader, you will have a great deal of responsibility.

We want candidates who have at least 2 to 6 years of clinical research experience, a medical doctor degree, and a results-oriented personality.

Working as a Clinical Development Director

In this role, you will have numerous significant responsibilities. Your main duties will be to establish and approve scientific methods for design and implementation of applicable clinical protocols, data collection systems, and final reports. You will conduct negotiations with clinical research centers and investigators, in order to enhance marketing efforts. Theses collaborations, as well as relationships with marketing and sales, will help you to accomplish your goals. The role of Clinical Development Director is one that holds great leadership responsibility. Safety surveillance and planning and conducting clinical trials all fall under your category of work.

We ask that candidates have clinical or corporate sponsor experience in conduct of clinical studies, preferably in the field of rheumatology. At least two to six years of clinical research experience in a pharmaceutical or CRO environment is required, as well as a medical doctor degree. You must be board certified or eligible for certification. We want candidates who are responsible, are high-achievers and are goal-oriented, and work well with a team.
