Surgical Technologist
Aurora Healthcare is seeking Surgical Technologists to work in full time positions at our new location in Grafton, Wisconsin.
As a Surgical Technologist, you will assist with basic surgical needs in all specialty areas, and work closely with the surgical team. As a team, you will handle surgeries in all types of cases, including cardiac. We ask that candidates have no fewer than 3 years of experience, as well as a thorough understanding of certain surgical technologies and techniques. A passion for healthcare is mandatory, as well as communication and teamwork skills.

As a Surgical Technologist, you will work to provide this high quality care and encompass the values of the Aurora family. Your main responsibilities will be to provide preparatory, scrubbing, and related services that are necessary for the surgical procedure. You will work with the surgical team on all types of cases, and assist with basic surgical needs throughout the surgery. We ask that applicants have at least 3 years of related experience, and a thorough knowledge of surgical technologies and aseptic surgical techniques. For this position, you must also have a current BLS for healthcare providers certification granted by the American Heart Association. A certain amount of flexibility is required in terms of scheduling availability. You will be on call one night a week, and a 30-minute on-call response time is required.
