In this role, you’ll work one-on-one with patients and develop relationships with patients and their families – as well as learn all the most up-to-date protocols in wound care. Qualifications for Hyperbaric RN Hyperbaric chambers are used to help treat difficult wounds, such as diabetic foot ulcers, but are also used to treat carbon monoxide poisoning and a host of other medical conditions. During hyperbaric treatment, patients breathe 100 percent oxygen in a pressurized chamber. The increased oxygen in the blood stimulates small blood vessel and skin growth and helps fight infection. In this role, you’ll work one-on-one with patients and develop relationships with patients and their families – as well as learn all the most up-to-date protocols in wound care. Candidates for this position should have a current Registered Nurse license granted by the State of Wisconsin. BLS certification and ACLS is required. Candidates must have at least 1 year clinical nursing experience and 6 months Critical Care experience. Previous ICU or Hyperbaric experience is strongly preferred. The position is full time, mostly day shifts with some p.m. hours needed. There are also part time and casual hours available.
