Med-Surge Nurse

Aurora Healthcare is looking for qualified candidates to fill positions as Med-Surg nurses in Grafton, WI.

As a med-surg nurse here at Aurora Healthcare, you will work closely with not only physicians and ancillary staff, but also with patients and their families. You will strive to ensure that they receive the best and most personal care possible throughout their time at Aurora Healthcare.

We ask that candidates have at least 1 to 2 years of experience, and are passionate about their jobs and are ready and anxious to help others and make a difference in the lives of many.

Working as a Med-Surg Nurse

As part of the Aurora Healthcare community, your enthusiasm for making a difference will shine through in the work you do. In the role of a Med-Surg nurse, you will collaborate with physicians and ancillary staff to provide the best care possible to our patients. In the Med-Surg unit, you will also complete point of care testing with all qualifying patients, and work with them and their families. No matter if our patients are just checking up or in for the long run, it is your responsibility to provide them with accurate, credible information regarding their visit, and will help to build a trusting relationship with the patient. Our number one priority is patient centered care, and for this reason we have incorporated different layouts in our new hospital in order to allow better efficiency and accessibility for the nurses.

We ask that candidates have at least one to two years of experience, and have a Wisconsin RN license, or at least accessibility to one. It is imperative that you are passionate about caring for others and enjoy the medical field. A great personality is required, as you will be building relationships with patients and their families, not to mention your fellow staff. You must be available to work the night shift, although these shifts are not guaranteed and there are a number of different time slots available, including both part time and full time positions.
