Audit and Compliance Professionals

Freddie Mac is hiring individuals to work in full time positions as Audit and Compliance Professionals in McLean, VA.

In this role, you will work with a team in the Internal Audit Division to help make the living affordable for millions of Americans. You will perform a number of duties within the division to achieve this ultimate goal.

We want candidates who work well with a team, have at least 2-10 years of experience in the field, and have a great work ethic.

Working as an Audit and Compliance Professional

As an audit and compliance professional, you will perform internal audits in the Capital Markets, Mortgage Sourcing and Servicing, Financial Reporting, Model Risk, and Information Technology Areas. You will work towards Freddie Mac’s ultimate goal: to provide affordable housing to all Americans.

As a government entity, established by Congress in 1970, our main goal is to help Americans find and obtain appropriate housing. We need employees who are dedicated to their profession, and enjoy working for the greater good. We ask that candidates have between 2 and 10 years of experience in the following areas: Sox/operational controls testing, risk and process documentation review, public accounting, financial auditing, application control reviews, model validation, and systems development. We also value experience conducting audits and derivatives, counter party credit, and security and debt portfolios. The following certifications are highly desirable: CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, or CISSP.
