International Tax Manager
Ernst & Young is hiring international tax managers to work in the International Tax Services division in our Calgary and Toronto offices.
As an international tax manager, you will be responsible for providing services for clients, overseeing employee productivity, and ensuring efficient results. You will gain a more thorough understanding of Ernst & Young, and seek opportunities for more business.
We want candidates who have at least 7 years of experience, know how to lead a team, and are hard workers. Great managerial, customer service, and communications skills are a must.
Working as an International Tax Manager
International tax managers are Senior Managers in our International Tax Services practice. In this role, you will work to provide services that exceed the client expectations in terms of quality and punctuality. Along with providing these work products, you will build on technical proficiency to improve productivity, develop a deep understanding of Ernst & Young methodologies, and actively look for opportunities to provide tax services. As a manager, it is your job to help develop and guide staff members, and to instruct other junior tax professionals.
We ask that candidates have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance, as well as at least seven years of related tax experience. A broad exposure to federal income taxation is required. An accounting designation or JD/LL.B is a plus.
