Senior Financial Consultant
Allstate Insurance is looking for senior financial consultants to work in the Investments Division near our headquarters in Northbrook, IL.
As a senior financial consultant for Allstate, you will manage multiple facets of the pricing/valuation function, such as investment portfolios, review policies procedures, and maintain documents.
We want candidates who have a thorough knowledge of business finance and are willing to work hard to achieve their career goals through utilizing their analytical and communications skills.
Working as a Senior Financial Consultant
A senior financial consultant typically works as part of a team, and focuses on managing valuation of investment portfolios, review policies and procedures, and maintaining documents. You will be expected to prepare monthly reports concerning pricing and valuation. A large part of your job will revolve around trying to fully integrate the valuation process by incorporating all areas of investment operations. By performing these duties, you will be adequately fulfilling the role of senior financial consultant.
Senior financial consulting is a field in which experience and great collaboration skills are excellent qualities to possess. Because this job requires a thorough understanding of finances, we require at least 7-10 years of finance experience and 3-5 years of investment experience. Leadership skills are highly valued in this job, as is the ability to effectively communicate with others. Financial consultants at Allstate must be deadline-driven and motivated to work hard. We value a knowledge of FAS-157, and developed problem solving skills.
