Predictive Modeler

Allstate Insurance Company is hiring a Predictive Modeler to estimate and analyze new model developments in the Northern suburbs of Chicago.

As a predictive modeler for Allstate, you will have to use quantitative and economic modeling skills when it comes to estimating prices for new model developments.

We need candidates who are able to obtain, analyze, and translate data into useful business information to use in the development of new products and services. You must be skilled in your field, and must have thorough communication skills in order to relay information effectively.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in the Insurance Industry, have significant statistical modeling talent, thorough communication skills, and strong project management skills.

Predictive Modeler Responsibilities

You must be able to correctly analyze given data, and use it’s interpretation and information to decipher the drive of insurance costs, as well as other data. Use your analytical skills to comprehend the information, and use it to create new business models based on your findings. The information gathered and the appropriate business model should benefit the company and enable them to make wise business decisions.

Communication skills are mandatory, as you will need to effectively relay information to your team of co-workers, as well as superiors. You must be able to manage projects. This includes overseeing fellow employees, deadlines, and the work that is being done.
