Electric Insurance is actively seeking candidates for our New Policy Sales Consultants positions.
As a New Policy Sales Consultant, you are responsible for counseling and selling personal lines insurance products through an established customer base.
Electric Insurance sells insurance products primarily through inbound call activity and outbound activity via assigned leads, there’s never cold calling!
We offer a generous base salary plus multiple incentive programs to boost your earning potential. Our 10-week training program is paid, and will result in the successful completion of your Property and Casualty Agent’s License.

If you are a friendly, courteous team player who likes a fast paced sales environment, if you are dedicated to providing unsurpassed customer service and have a history of success in sales or have a desire to sell professionally, this is the position for you. In order to sell personal lines insurance policies, you have to be licensed, so we offer an intense 10-12 week paid training program that results in you obtaining your MA Property & Casualty Agent license. The New Policy Sales Consultant position is a great step in a direction towards a career in marketing, underwriting, and pricing to name a few.

Benefits at Electric Insurance
GE Medical benefits are offered to full-time and regular part-time associates and their eligible dependents if they are scheduled and working 20 or more hours per week. You may participate in the Medical Plan's national network option, a preferred provider organization, which offers limited out-of-pocket expenses when using in-network providers, plus the opportunity to choose any licensed out-of-network provider with higher out-of-pocket expenses. A traditional indemnity-type health plan is also offered which would allow you to see any provider and use any hospital. The plan pays benefits based on a percentage of charges for covered services; some services are subject to an annual deductible. You and your eligible dependents become eligible immediately upon your date of employment. Contributions by associates are made on a before-tax basis
The GE dental care benefit is offered to full-time and regular part-time associates scheduled and working 20 or more hours per week. Associates may choose from two levels of dental coverage with varying limits. You and your eligible dependents become eligible immediately upon your date of employment. Contributions are made on a before-tax basis.
The GE Vision Care benefit is offered to full-time and regular part-time associates scheduled and working 20 or more hours per week. The vision plan covers one eye exam every other calendar year, as well as a portion of your eyeglasses and/or contact lenses. You and your eligible dependents become eligible immediately upon your date of employment. Contributions are made on a before-tax basis.

Participation is made easy through payroll deductions. The plan offers many diversified investment choices as well as offering many options within the plan. In addition, eligible associates also can participate in the GE Pension plan.
Full-time associates and regular part-time associates scheduled and working 20 or more hours per week are eligible to participate in the GE Health Care and Dependent Care Reimbursement Account Plans immediately upon their date of employment. You can set aside up to $5,000 for eligible health care expenses and up to $5,000 for eligible dependent care (child or elder care) expenses. Your contributions are made on a before-tax basis, and your reimbursements from these accounts are generally tax-free.
ElC associates are automatically covered at 2.5 times their salary under the GE Basic Life Insurance Plan. Coverage is automatic, and 100% employer paid.
