Associated Bank is looking to hire experienced personal bankers to work in full time positions in Milwaukee, WI.
As a personal banker for Associated Bank, you will perform a number of sales-oriented duties. These roles include indentifying customers’ needs, matching them to an appropriate financial situation, and more.
Since a great deal of the job will involve interaction with customers, it is necessary that applicants are friendly, sales-minded, and knowledgeable in the field. We also ask that candidates have at least 1-3 years of experience.
Working as a Personal Banker for Associated Bank
In this role, your main duty is to form and maintain relationships with customers, and then cater to their banking needs. This includes answering their questions, or directing them to further assistance if need be. You will listen to their financial situations, identify their banking needs, and then match them to an appropriate financial solution. You will work to solicit and open new accounts, including all DDA and consumer loan products, and, depending on your level of banking, several other financial products and services.
We ask that candidates are friendly and enthusiastic, with great communication and inter-personal skills. Level 1 bankers must have at least 1-3 years of sales and/or financial industry experience, including deposit and consumer lending, where as level 2 bankers must have 3 or more years experience and be licensed to sell insurance and annuities. At least a high school diploma or GED is required.
