Subrogation Specialist
Allstate Insurance is searching for subrogation specialists to work for us in Irving, Texas.
Our subrogation specialists work with customers, third party candidates, and party carriers to obtain the correct collections. As a subrogation specialist, you will maintain positive, beneficial relationships with customers, and handle daily subrogation claims for the company.
We want candidates who are dedicated to their job, and who will make customer service a priority. As a subrogation specialist, a large portion of your job includes calling customers and claimants, so you must be friendly and courteous, but also focused on your job.
Working as a Subrogation Specialist
A subrogation specialist typically spends the greater portion of their day making phone calls and hoping to connect with current customers, claimants, and 3rd party carriers in order to receive proper collections. As a subrogation specialist, you will attempt to establish new claims, document computer data, and collect subrogation dollars. Here at Allstate, we realize that this can be overwhelming. For this reason, we established a rigorous training program that will thoroughly cover all technical aspects of the position, so that you will have complete knowledge of your roles as subrogation specialist.
Since a job as a subrogation specialist largely deals with interpersonal relationships, excellent communication and people skills are mandatory. No experience is necessary, but we do require that candidates have at least a high school diploma or a GED. Bilingual candidates are desired, but it is not imperative that you speak more than one language. Superb customer service skills are a must, as well as computer proficiency.
