Claims Processing Specialist
Allstate is searching for claims processing specialists to work in different locations around the United States.
As a claims processing specialist, you will establish and maintain positive relationships with your customers, whom you will spend the majority of your time talking to, and accurately input all data. You must also follow claim directed leadership, and be comfortable working in the Market Claims office with adjusters to settle certain claims.
We want candidates who are friendly and outgoing, who have excellent interpersonal skills, and work well with others. We appreciate motivation and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Working as a Claims Processing Specialist
A claim processing specialist typically works in the Express Claim Center establishing auto and property claims, inspection assignments and repair arrangements for our customers. As a claim processing specialist, you will frequently interact with customers- providing assistance, giving direction, and processing claims. You will be required to follow claim leadership, and input all information correctly in a timely and organized manner. Here at Allstate, we realize that this can be overwhelming. For this reason, we established a rigorous training program that will thoroughly cover all technical aspects of the position, so that you will have complete knowledge of your roles as an auto claims adjuster. Our world-class training program will delve into the Allstate claim process and vehicle mileage reimbursement.
For this job, no prior experience is necessary. However, we do require at least a high school diploma, although a BA is preferred. Excellent customer service skills are mandatory, as well as analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
