Catastrophe Claims Service Adjuster
Allstate Insurance is looking for Catastrophe Claims Service Adjusters to work in various locations around the United States.
Catastrophe claims service adjusters are an important part of the insurance claims process. As a catastrophe claims service adjuster, you will estimate claims and then document them, in order to stay organized and keep the claim on file.
We want candidates who are willing to work hard, are capable of negotiating, and who make customer service a priority in their work day.
Working as a Catastrophe Claims Service Adjuster
A Catastrophe claims service adjuster spends most of their time away travelling to different locations where customers have reported damage. As a catastrophe claims service adjuster, travel constitutes as 90% of your job, and many times the trips are 10 consecutive days at a time. You will travel to these catastrophe sites to assist customers who have experienced damage to their homes or automobiles. Allstate will reimburse you for automobile mileage. You will work independently and document the claims after the observations.
Although no experience is required, you must be able to lift a 40 pound ladder, climb roofs, and travel for days at a time. A college degree is preferred, as are problem solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
