Communications Manager
Allstate Insurance is hiring communications managers to work at our headquarters near Northbrook, IL.
As a communications manager, you will serve as a crucial member of the Investments Corporate Relations team. You will work with your team to create strategic communications plans and develop strategies for the company.
We are looking for hardworking, enthusiastic individuals with great people skills, who will enjoy working with a team, encouraging co-workers, and creating important strategies.
Working as a Communications Manager
As a member of the Investments Corporate Relations team, you will work with the Investments Corporate Relations manager to produce business and communication strategies to implement throughout the company, as well handle daily communication. You will develop solid executive positioning strategies and create ways to further reach out to stakeholders. Since the communications manager plays such a large role in the sufficiency of the division, and their ideas are so important to the company, a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or Journalism is required. We also require at least 7 years of experience in communications or public relations, preferably within a large corporation. Problem solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to get along with others are a must. Leadership skills are also crucial, as you will work with a team of coworkers.
