Accounting Director
Allstate Insurance is hiring accounting directors to work at our headquarters in Northbrook, IL.
As an accounting director for Allstate, you will oversee the internal control environment, and report on it’s condition and efficiency. You will also interact heavily with coworkers in other departments.

Working as an Accounting Director
An accounting director typically works with other departments to better their own department and the company itself. As an accounting director, you will work with Investment Portfolio Management, Corporate Accounting and Research, Corporate Tax, and Investment Law, to help all departments gain efficiency. You will also monitor and report on the internal control environment, manage the investment related portions of the SEC and Statutory quarterly and annual reports, and report to the Assistant Vice President of Investment Operations and Finance.
The role of accounting director is a critical one, and for this reason we require at least ten years of related experience, including five+ years of experience in financial reporting or SEC, preferably in the insurance field. A college degree in accounting is required, as well as a CPA and deep knowledge of accounting.
