Accounting Director

Allstate Insurance is hiring accounting directors to work at our headquarters near Northbrook, IL.

Because our accounting directors hold so much responsibility, we are looking for the best of the best. As an accounting director, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with guidelines, and monitoring internal control environments.

We want candidates who are well organized, and have great leadership skills. Communications skills are a must, as well as at least 10 years of experience.

Working as an Accounting Director

As an accounting director, your responsibilities will include preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with company guidelines. You will report to the Assistant Vice President of Investment Operations and Finance, and work with them on various reports and documentations. You will also monitor internal control environments, and ensure that your faction of the company is running as efficiently as possible.

We are looking for candidates with at least 10 years of financial experience, and at least 5 years of reporting experience. A CPA is required, but a MBA or a CFA is preferred. Communications skills, analytical skills, and a background in the insurance business are all bonus points.
